Zoo Time

I went to the Bristol Zoo just after Christmas. I prefer going in the winter, the animals always seem a bit more active. Its a bit cold so the animals move around a bit.

So I really like the zoo. I also like taking photos of animals however I like to try and make it look like they are not taken in the zoo but in the wild, I guess I try and think about the way I compose the image.

Texture

So I have been thinking alot about texture. I might do a mini project. I haven't done one of these in ages and I think its nice to have something to focus on. This probably wont happen but I like to think I will try.

Happy New Year.

Well Happy New Year. 2011 was a good year. I achieve so much.

I finally graduated uni with a 2:2 in Photography and Digital Imaging. Its Leanne Matthews Bsc now.

Of course did a few wedding shoots over the summer and course took loads of photos and party hard as well.

Aims for this year is definitely take more photos and maybe even get that professional status.

Any way I was too drunk on new years eve as i'm sure many of people were and didn't take my camera out. i did take a compact but stupidly forgot a memory card. i'm such a scatterbrain sometime. I did have my iphone though and took this at midnight. I think it captures that party atmosphere

Fireworks

Okay so I know it was firework night a few weeks ago and I'm really bad at not keeping up to date with posting photos. I promise to be better.

Firework night is by far my favourite nights of the year. I actually get excited for it. There is just something I like about the lights and big bangs. My favourite is the big rockets that go dodummmm. Yes I did just make a firework noise.

So last week I woke up early and it was sooo beautiful outside. It was moments like this when I wish I live near Richmond Park. Unfortunately I don't. here is the view out my window instead.

It was firework night last night.  My favourite night of the year. Will do a post later. :)

Duckies

Today is my day off. Here are my ducks.

They love worms, snails, cold baths, the radio and cucumber. 

Apples, Berries and Lavender

We went to a food festivals. There wasn't food. I was well confused. However there was this cute little orchard, which sold a personal favourite of mine cider. Attached to one of these trees was a swing and I just loved the way it was slightly hidden in the tree.

There was also blackberries.
