Early Christmas Present

For Christmas my mum brought me a fish eye lens. I bugged her soo much and she wanted to know if it fitted my camera. It did and I finally had a spare moment to play.

More Studio Time

Today I did a shoot for my friend in the studio. She's one of these fashion students for London College of Fashion people. Any way the brief was to design articles of clothing for womenwear of the outdoor brand Timberland with the chance to present it to the company itself.

Here is a couple of photos from the shoot but my laptop has a really dirty screen so im gonna head into uni to use their nice macs.

Here are a couple of polaroids from a recent shoot I was part of. The whole idea was to modernise a fairy tale. we also done Goldilocks and the 3 bears. This is our modernisation of the mad hatters tea party from Alice in wonderland.

Street lamps

I have a small obsession with street lamps and just lights in general (I think I've posted quite a few before). I don't know why but I just like them a lot. Here is the street lamp outside my bedroom.

Wembley Stadium

I shot these a while ago and never did anything with them. I'm actually using them in my architectural project. They were shot on a cloudy day and personally I think they might have been better on a clear skied day but this is England so clouds it is. They are mostly of the arch which I think looks like a giant snake.





sorry I haven't posted anything in a while I have been busy with uni stuff. I have also been doing a lot of studio work and group work on fairy tales so if i have time ill post a few of them up :)

For a recent shoot for a portrait project for uni I went to my friend Monique's recording session to take some photos to fill out my sketch book. For some I really like this photo.

ooo new neg scanner

So I brought myself a negative scanner as I love using film and it takes to much effort to scan them at uni or the darkroom. I do like it alot. As all my film negs are in Swindon I brought a roll of film. The first time I didn't load it properly (this shows that I haven't used it in a long time), however this film wasn't wasted (well only 5 frames or something) after correctly loading it I shot these. The outcome isn't the best work I've ever done but I only wanted to play until i went home to pick up some old negatives.

Northwick Park - i have actually left this neg out on purpose so it can gather dust and a few scratches I don't know what it will turn out like but will post the results up in a couple of weeks probably.

As I was sat in our back garden as the sun went down the sky became a beautiful mix of purples pinks and oranges. It was really magically. Of course I had to take a photo, its also the desktop to my laptop as well.

Glow Sticks

We had a couple of friends round in the week and got a little bit drunk and somehow some glow sticks got involved. I got the camera out and did some long exposures. Most of them where just messy lights but a couple where shapes. This one is my favourite.

War Memorial

Sorry I haven't posted any thing in a while. I moved house so been sorting that out mostly. Before I left I went to this war and tank memorial thing. It was quite surreal actually lots of people in 40s clothes and army uniforms. Some had even built trenches. I added a hint of sepia to make the photos look older to finish the look off.

Jasper and Jeremy

My brother brought some ducks today. They are quite funny. They look like bowling pins. They are 12 week old Indian Runners. Mum doesn't like them much and neither does olive. In a way I wish we waited until olive was gone until we got them as it might be easier. they are still cute (kinda).
